Martin Willis is the only guy in the world to do drums properly, both linings and spline inserts.

Martin,
The SVRA event is September 10-13. I’ll let you know how it goes. I put the rear drums on this weekend. They look great and are true, no high spots. The proof will be how they look after the weekend.
-Steve Hunter
Thanks for repairing them, I’ll spread the word you repair splines & do liners. You're the only guy I've heard of that still does it.
Thanks again
-Steve Beecher
Martin,
Just got my drums back and they look great; nice packaging job too. Thanks for the prompt professional service, it’s not that easy to find these days. Hope to do business again.

Martin,
Got the flywheel in my bullet proof 356 engine today, torqued down to 450lbs and clutch installed. Put the engine in the ’59 cab today (the car resurrected from the rust heap) and fired it up. With a few nut turns on the clutch cable it all functions great!! Thanks for all you precision work!! You have an amazing shop…your brake drums are on this car too. It is such a pleasure to work with someone who has been around for a while and knows how to make these old cars function like they were intended…hope we can recruit more followers for the 356 brand as time goes on. Many thanks!
Cheers,
James
The drums look great…I appreciate your work–they look brand new.
Thanks Again!

Hi Willis, I ran Watkins Glen with your drums on the rear. It was a success. They worked great and stayed round. I will probably put the fronts on over the winter to use next year. You in Colorado have the same weather as we do. Racing is over for me for this year. I am just hoping that they plan Rennsport IV for Daytona in 2010. -Steve Hunter
Hey just wanted to let you know I love the rack, had it on the track for the first time at the PCA event at the Glen this past weekend, amazing difference. Gave you a nice write up on Rennlist in the 944 turbo forum.
Thx again
Al
Hi Martin,
Just a quick note to let you know that the drums have arrived safe and sound and look fantastic! You did a great job! Thank-you so much for your efforts. The drums will look fantastic with the 20mm spacers and the Carrera composite wheels on my car. Again thank-you for the drums.
Kind regards and best wishes,
Martin
Hi martin. Damn you’re good!!!

Martin,
Just wanted to let you know that our 944 Electric performed wonderfully at Laguna Seca this past weekend. The power to manual rack conversion that you did was tremendous and helped us take 4th place, not bad for the cars first time out. The car had grip everywhere and was surprisingly easy to navigate the track with.
Thanks for all your help,
Dan
Hello Martin,
Just wanted to drop a note, the drums arrived last week, no transport damages. Drums do look very, very nice. Can’t wait to replace the old ones!
Regards,
Patrick
Hi Martin,
Thought you would like to know that your relined drums performed beautifully at the 2013 Rolex Reunion! Our 1955 Continental Coupe had a fantastic dice with 2 300SL Mercedes “gullwing” Coupes who would blow by climbing the hill to the Corkscrew at Laguna Seca with their 3 liter torque, and the little 1500cc 356 would out brake them entering the Corkscrew to lead them down the hill and to the checker, to finish 9th overall behind a bunch of large displacement modifieds.

Martin,
The rack was received last Thursday. Very nice job. The quality of your work was apparent. It’s installed and as you said, very positive steering.
Thanks,
Tony
The guru in California says this guy is definitely the best–he also guarantees his liners for racing which is unheard of. He said the car will stop perfectly once done correctly, so no need to go to the disc setup.
